"Forward, the Light Brigade! Was there a man dismay’d? Not tho’ the soldier knew Someone had blunder’d: Their’s not to make reply, Their’s not to reason why, Their’s but to do and die: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred."
Alfred Lord Tennyson
More popularly quoted as "Ours is not to question why, ours is but to do or die" and extremely (and unfortunately) fitting.

I feel as if I ought to ask if you're alright, but I know you aren't. I wish I could be in the Ravenclaw Tower with you tonight. End of Ward
It looks like I need a new quill. This one has become impossible.

[Warded to the DA]
I feel as if everyone is tip-toeing around the subject, or perhaps it is just me who is doing so, but I'm going to blatantly put it out there. Is there anyone not returning? I know I can't be the only one who contemplates what it would be like to not return
It's going to be awfully hard to leave home, knowing what waits for us at Hogwarts. I'm still having a hard time reconciling the fact that the place that used to be the safest place in the wizarding world has now become become a place for torture- what it has become this year. Is it courage that will help me return to do what I can, or is it insanity to think that we can make a difference? [End of Ward]
[Warded to Lavender]
As much as I don't want to return without you there, there's a part of me that hopes you'll tell me you are staying away. I hate this. [End of Ward]
